StackDrive AI (the "Service", "we", "us") is operated by Denny Guhlmann. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal data when you use our website at stackdriveai.com.

Our Service is offered globally. We comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for visitors from the European Union and the European Economic Area, and with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA / CPRA) for California residents.

Server Log Data (necessary)

When you visit our website, our hosting provider automatically collects standard server log data: IP address, User-Agent string, referring URL, requested URL, HTTP status code, and timestamp. Logs are retained for up to 14 days for security and abuse prevention, then automatically deleted.

Cookie Data (consent-based)

We use cookies and similar technologies only with your consent (functional, statistics, marketing). See section 5 for details. Necessary cookies (e.g. for storing your cookie preferences) are set without consent and cannot be disabled.

Contact Data (voluntary)

If you contact us via email or a contact form, we process your email address and any information you voluntarily submit, solely to handle your inquiry. We delete this data once the inquiry is resolved, unless statutory retention periods apply.

Affiliate Click Data (consent-based)

When you click an affiliate link (e.g. /go/<tool-slug>), we redirect you to the third-party provider. The third party may set tracking cookies subject to your consent and their own privacy policy.

We use your data for the following purposes:

• To operate and secure the website (server logs, necessary cookies)
• To remember your preferences (functional cookies, e.g. language, cookie consent)
• To improve our content based on anonymized usage statistics (statistics cookies)
• To respond to inquiries you send us (contact data)
• To process affiliate referrals (affiliate click data)
• To send newsletters where you have explicitly opted in (marketing)

We use a 4-tier consent banner: Necessary, Functional, Statistics, and Marketing. You can change your selection at any time via the Cookie Settings link in the footer or via your browser settings.

• Necessary: required for site operation; cannot be disabled.
• Functional: remembers preferences such as language and saved filters.
• Statistics: anonymized usage analytics so we can improve content.

StackDrive AI currently earns no commission from the tools listed here. We take part in no affiliate programme, and none of the outbound links carries a partner or tracking parameter. Whether a tool appears on this site, and how we assess it, is an editorial decision with no payment attached.

Outbound links to providers run through a redirect under /go/ so that we can count how often a listing is used. That counting happens in our own server logs; no profile is built and nothing is passed to the provider beyond the request itself. The links carry rel="noopener nofollow".

Should we enter an affiliate programme in future, every affected link will be marked as advertising before it is clicked, and this section will be updated accordingly — as required by Section 5a(4) UWG and the EU consumer protection guidance on affiliate advertising.

The suggestion form under /submit-ai-tool/ sends nothing to a server of ours. The entries are assembled in your browser into a prepared email and handed to your own email program — you send it yourself. Until that message arrives, we receive and store nothing.

The email reaches us at the address shown on the form. It contains what you entered: tool name, website, category, pricing details, your description, your relationship to the tool and your email address. We use these details to assess the suggestion and, where necessary, to ask you about it. There is no further use, no newsletter, and nothing is passed to third parties.

Submissions are kept for as long as the suggestion is pending and for up to twelve months afterwards, so we can tell a repeat suggestion from a new one. After that they are deleted. You can ask us at any time to delete your submission earlier — a short email to the same address is enough, and no reason is required.

We use the following third-party services that may process your data:

• Cloudflare — CDN, DDoS protection, and DNS for stackdriveai.com. Cloudflare may process server logs (IP, User-Agent) for security purposes. Privacy policy.
• Affiliate networks (e.g. tool providers' own programs) — set tracking cookies on click-through, subject to your consent and the provider's own privacy policy.
• Google Fonts — fonts served via Google's CDN. We load fonts via fonts.googleapis.com. Privacy policy.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you have the following rights regarding your personal data. To exercise any right, contact us using the address in section 13.

Our service is hosted on Cloudflare's global edge network. Personal data may therefore be transferred to and processed in countries outside the EU/EEA, including the United States. Such transfers are protected by Cloudflare's Standard Contractual Clauses and additional safeguards under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework where applicable.

We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes outlined above:

• Server logs: up to 14 days
• Cookie consent: 12 months (or until you change your selection)
• Contact inquiries: until the inquiry is resolved + statutory retention periods (typically 6 years for tax-relevant correspondence in Germany)
• Newsletter sign-ups: until you unsubscribe

StackDrive AI is not directed at children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a minor, please contact us so we can delete it.
